Who We Are

We’re a Dallas-based mold remediation company staffed by IICRC-certified technicians who do this work full time — not general contractors who dabble in mold between roofing jobs. Every member of our field team holds current certifications in mold remediation (S520) and water damage restoration (S500), and has hands-on experience working in Dallas homes across every neighborhood from Oak Lawn to Oak Cliff, Lakewood to Lake Highlands.

Over the past 15 years, we’ve remediated mold in more than 2,400 Dallas-area homes. That volume means we’ve seen every type of mold problem this city produces — from the Stachybotrys colonies that grow behind shower walls in 1960s ranch homes to the attic mold that forms on roof sheathing when bathroom exhaust fans vent into the soffit instead of through the roof.

We carry full general liability insurance, workers’ compensation coverage, and are licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services for both mold assessment and mold remediation. We don’t subcontract our remediation work — the team that inspects your home is the team that does the work.

Our Certifications & Standards

Mold remediation done wrong is worse than mold remediation not done at all. These are the standards we hold ourselves to.

IICRC S520 Certified

The industry standard for professional mold remediation. Covers containment protocols, air filtration, antimicrobial treatment, and post-remediation verification.

IICRC S500 Certified

Water damage restoration certification. Mold and water damage go hand in hand — we handle both, from emergency drying to full remediation.

Texas DSHS Licensed

Licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services for mold assessment and mold remediation. Fully compliant with Texas mold regulations.

HEPA-Filtered Equipment

Every job uses commercial-grade HEPA air scrubbers and negative air machines. We test our equipment regularly to verify filtration performance.

Licensed & Insured

Full general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Every technician passes background checks and ongoing safety training.

Thermal Imaging & Moisture Mapping

We use infrared cameras and professional moisture meters to find hidden water and mold — not just the colonies you can see.

Our Process

Every mold job follows the same disciplined sequence. No shortcuts, no guesswork.

1

Inspection & Assessment

We start with a thorough visual inspection, moisture meter readings, and thermal imaging to map every affected area — including what's hidden behind walls and above ceilings. If lab testing is needed, we collect samples and explain the cost before proceeding.

2

Containment Setup

Before we touch any mold, we seal the affected area with poly sheeting and set up HEPA-filtered negative air machines. This prevents spores from spreading to the rest of your home during remediation.

3

Removal & Treatment

Contaminated porous materials — drywall, insulation, carpet — are removed, bagged, and disposed of. Remaining structural surfaces are treated with professional antimicrobial solutions and HEPA-vacuumed.

4

Drying & Moisture Control

We dry the treated area to target moisture levels using commercial dehumidifiers and air movers. We also address the moisture source — whether it's a plumbing leak, ventilation issue, or foundation moisture — so the mold doesn't come back.

5

Clearance Testing & Handoff

An independent licensed assessor performs post-remediation clearance testing to verify the mold is gone. Once cleared, we remove containment and provide a certificate of mold remediation for your records and insurance.

Why Dallas Trusts Us

Dallas has a mold problem most cities don’t. The combination of hot, humid summers (average relative humidity above 65% from May through October), expansive Eagle Ford clay soil that holds moisture like a sponge, and air conditioning systems running 14+ hours a day creates ideal conditions for mold growth in nearly every type of home — from 1950s pier-and-beam houses in East Dallas to new construction in Frisco and McKinney.

We built our practice around the specific mold challenges Dallas homes face. We know that condensate line clogs are the number one source of hidden mold in Dallas — because we’ve seen it in thousands of homes. We know that post-storm foundation shifts open cracks that let ground moisture into wall cavities — because we’ve traced those moisture paths with thermal cameras hundreds of times. We know which Dallas neighborhoods have the highest crawl-space mold rates (M Streets, Lakewood, parts of Oak Cliff where pier-and-beam construction is common) because we’ve worked in them for over a decade.

That local experience means faster diagnosis, more accurate scoping, and fewer surprises once we open walls. It also means we don’t over-remediate — we know the difference between a condensation issue that needs ventilation improvement and a plumbing leak that needs drywall removal. You pay for the work your home actually needs, not the worst-case protocol applied to every situation.
